Steve Wynn To Appear On 60Mins.

This Sunday local casino owner Steve Wynn will make an appearance on the CBS magazine show 60 Minutes. Wynn hasn't said much about what the this weekends appearance will be about, but let's take a wild guess that the economy and Las Vegas will be discussed just a bit. Here is a few lines from Wynn's news release about his appearance:

"Steve Wynn--The casino mogul most responsible for taking Las Vegas to new heights of gaming and glitter talks to Charlie Rose about his spectacular success and the eye disease that's slowly robbing him of his ability to see the fruits of his labor."

Yes, his vision loss will also be discussed. It will be interesting to see if 60 Minutes asks Wynn about President Obama's singling out of Las Vegas as a city that tourists should not go to if their company gets bailout money. Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, who is a Democrat and supported Obama in his Presidential Campaign has been critical of Obama's statements about Las Vegas.
