An Elvis Experience

I have a story about the Elvis concerts in the 70's here. I was a young girl who adored the Beatles. My mother and younger sister loved Elvis. So when my parents got tickets to see Elvis at the Hilton, I was the basic rude teenager who was not thrilled at all. I told my parents I did not want to go. They said, You are going young lady, this is a family outting! I was pouting and not at all happy about being dragged to Elvis. As the show started, Elvis come out and wanted to thank some celebrities sitting in the audience. Then, to my surprise he said, I'd like to say hello to Mr.Ringo Starr and his wife Michelle. They were sitting just two rows down from us!!! To be that close to Ringo (my favorite Beatle) was amazing and my mood immediatly became light. But as the show went on and I watched Elvis perform I started to feel very differant about him too. Elvis was great. I left the concert loving him too. He was an incredible showman and I will never forget being one of the luckiest kids I knew. I got to see Elvis and my favorite Beatle too. Only in Vegas baby!
